When I was hospitalized with bloodclots in 2007 I got so constipated from the pain meds & inactivity that I passed, kid you not, a rock hard stool the size of a soda can while screaming as a terrified nurse tried to explain that straining so hard I screamed was innefective & also loud enough for the entire ICU floor to hear. She then made me glove up and poke the brick in the bowl to break it up while she cautiously flushed for me while trying not to wince. I’m glad you’re ok Eugene!!!!!
Yeah, as you know, this can be deadly. A variant of this problem killed my mother while she was in the hospital recuperating from surgery.
